# Sentiment

To open the Sentiment view click Sentiment from the Analyse Navigation Bar:

Explore the sentiment in submissions through a range of data visualisations (charts). Sentiment analysis is a technique used in language processing to determine the overall sentiment expressed in a piece of text, such as positive, negative, or neutral. It focuses on understanding the general polarity of the text without analysing specific emotions. Sentiment analysis helps gauge the overall opinion, attitude, or perception conveyed by the text, providing insights into the sentiment expressed by individuals or groups. It is important to note that sentiment analysis is different from emotions analysis, which delves into specific emotions conveyed in the text.
