# Sharing a Chart

## Where to find Share Chart

Access the Share button from the Analyse Navigation Bar:

This will open the Share chart menu:

**Note:** Charts need to be saved in order to share and publish. If you publish an unsaved chart, Converlens will save the chart for you. See [Views](/docs/01-03-04-02-05-04__views) for more information on saving a view.

# Share in a report

To share the chart in a report via the Present tab, click **Send to Report**. This will open the Send to Report menu.

## **Send to existing report**

To send the chart to an existing report in the Present tab, select **Existing** from the Send to Report menu:

Select the name of the report where you want to send the chart. You can use the search bar to locate a specific report by entering its title, which will filter the list of reports to matching results.

Click **Send** and the chart will be added to the selected report.

## **Create a new report**

To create a new report in the Present tab and send the chart to it, select **+ Create New** from the Send to Report menu.

Enter a name for your new report.

Click **Send** to add the chart to the new report.

**Tip:** Access your reports in the Present tab from the Project Navigation Bar. For more details, see the **[Present](/docs/01-03-04-06__present-previously-report)** section.

# Publish chart

Click **Publish** in the Share chart menu to publish the chart to a webpage, allowing you to share a link for public access.

## Publish options

* **Share on:** Select a domain from the dropdown menu to share the chart's URL.
* **Website Link:** Generates a public URL for sharing the chart, allowing others to view it without project access.
  * **Copy Public Link:** Click on this to copy the website URL
* **Embed Code:** Provides an HTML snippet to embed the chart on a website
  * **Copy embed:** Click to copy the embed code to integrate the chart into your website or another platform.
* **Require a password to access view:** Toggle this option on or off to enable or disable password protection for the published chart.
* **Unpublish:** Click Unpublish to remove the chart from its public link and any embedded locations.

# Other actions

## Copy app link

You can copy the link to this chart by clicking the copy app link button in the top right.

Click to copy the link to this chart in the Converlens app. You can share this link with team members who have access to your project, allowing them to view and edit the chart.
