- Folder (data space): Click the dropdown menu to change between surveys in the project, if there are multiple data spaces.
- Count: Click the dropdown menu to select individual data blocks. Select the question to count to view how many times each option in that question was chosen.
- Group By: Click the dropdown menu to group the Count by another individual data block. Select the question to break down the count based on that second question. See how different groups within the data compare to each other
- Bar select: Click the dropdown to change the chart type.
- Bar: A chart that uses rectangular bars of varying lengths to represent data values.
- Row: Similar to a bar chart, but displayed horizontally with bars extending left to right.
- Line: A chart that shows data points connected by straight lines, useful for depicting trends over time.
- Area: A chart similar to a line chart, but the area between the line and the horizontal axis is shaded, emphasizing the data’s magnitude.
- Pie: A circular chart divided into segments, each representing a proportion of the whole, helpful for illustrating percentages or parts of a whole.
- Dot: A chart where data points are represented by dots along an axis, suitable for showing individual data values.
- Radar: A chart with multiple axes extending from a central point, ideal for comparing multiple variables on a common scale.
- Number: A simple chart displaying a single numeric value, often used for displaying a key metric or statistic.
- Group By Tags: Toggle on/off to group the data visualisation by tags applied to the dataset.
- Value Rendering: Select how the values display
- # Count: Display numerical values of data points on chart
- % Percent: Display data as percentages
- Stack Values: Toggle on/off to stack values in the chart (only available when a Group By has been selected)
- Sort: Arrange the order of data in the chart
- Sort by default: Arrange data in default order
- Values (lo-hi): Arrange data from lowest numerical value to highest numerical value
- Values (hi-lo): Arrange data from highest numerical value to lowest numerical value
- Labels (a-z): Arrange data alphabetically by label a-z
- Labels (z-a): Arrange data alphabetically by label z-a
- Max Items Shown: Select from the dropdown to limit the max number of items shown on the chart
- Chart appearance options: (change per chart type)
- Bar width: Slide to expand or contract the width of the bars in a Bar or Row chart.
- Line shape: Adjust the shape, appearance, weight, lines and fill in a Line, Area, Dot or Radar chart
- Points: Adjust the shape and size of the points in a Line, Area, Dot or Radar chart
- Rotate: Spin the chart orientation in a Pie chart.
- Pie Shape: Slide to adjust from a Pie chart to a Donut.
- Border: Change the border appearance in a Pie chart.
- Number: Adjust the text, alignment, decimals, prefix and suffix. Select the option from the block to chart. Change multiplier and apply a value title.
- Save this view: Click to save the current configuration in a view. See more: Views.
Config
The Config menu enables interaction with the tools applicable to the chart or visualisations. The options in Config will change when different chart types are selected.
